I do not enter contests often but when BeautyUndercover had a giveaway and I saw the colors, I signed up hoping to win. I did not even look the colors up because they were all gorgeous, so I figure I like heels, so I'll go with the lacquer named Head over Heels.

I won and it's a double win because I picked a fabulous color. Glitter nail polishes are beginning to blend in my head to the point I am shying away from picking any more up because I may own it already or a cousin like it. Head over Heels is in a class all it's own and not attached to a season or even holiday. It's beautiful and I love the ease of application. Head over Heels is a shade, which is part of the Limited Edition named Love, Roxie Collection.  The base is smooth and allows you to glide and disperse the flecks of glitter like you always imagined you would do, but once the brush hits the nail......well, I find myself dotting here and swiping there and even wiggling glitter off. It's the game of take away, where I have some nails perfectly glitter-fied and others look neglected, so I apply more and then it goes too much the other way. I appreciate the smoothness with Nailtini's formula, and the color in the bottle looks exactly as it should when applied. I now have harnessed glitter control powers!

I applied 2 coats and it dries fast, so you can set up quickly and bedazzle your nails at anytime of the day or night. You can apply straight from the bottle with no base color and because I'm Head over Heels when it comes to shoes.....my toes got a very needed pedicure.

On I went with finally coordinating my hands to my feet....not something that happens very often even though I mean to.

I got a chance to try Eslor's full line of products, and it's been a treat for my face ever since. And this most recent one,  Chlorophyll Lifting Mask is no different. NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine

NYC New York Color Liquid shine: I was sent color no. 582 in Nude York City (get it! ). This Nude color is perfect because it does not have those yellow tones that can cause hues that make you look more sickly than Natural. You get a nice dose of peach with a touch of pink….my perfect Nude tone! It goes perfectly with my skin and hair color and because it’s neutral, it goes with whatever eye color I wear. This is my third time getting this product and I love everything about it, from the price point at just $2.49 a tube to how this formula is not sticky but creamy. It floats nicely on your lips and when it wears down, you do not get those tint lines on your lips…it just wears away and you can easily re-apply. I have glosses I have shamefully paid $19 and up for one color, but NYC has 10 on-trend shades from natural nudes, to berries and even fuchsias. I’m a quality over quantity girl but because you do not skimp on quality with NYC New York Color lipshines, the math is simple- for the cost of about $25…you could own all 10! BzzAgent Covergirl BlastFlipstick

I was fortunate again in being able to participate in another BzzAgent campaign and I received 3 Blast Flipsticks (in Stunner, Vixen and Minx), coupons to share and a beautiful glossy book to Bzz and share with friends.



The new Flipsticks (www.covergirl.com/flipstick) comes in 13 beautiful colors and each stick has two tones (think of 2-in-1).  You can easily get several looks for daytime wear to that blast of color that goes perfectly for night wear.  I found myself mixing colors from other Flipsticks, so the possibilities are endless. This is not your typical "bargain" lipstick, the price is fair but the quality and staying power is there. The pigments in the colors remain through out the day and when the product wears off, you are not left with those lip outlines or worse, lip creases like with other products. The best way to describe how it feels when wearing, is creamy. No glossy stickiness and I found the Flipsticks to be nourishing.  Even though we have been hit with several cold snaps, I did not experience any dry lips. Many times I have to nourish my lips with a balm before applying any color to my lips but not with Covergirl Flipsticks. No lip color bleeding and my lips looked alive through the colder than usual Winter we have been experiencing.



My favorite is Minx!  You just get those lovely bronzy and copper hues that make it look like you foiled your lips.  The shimmer is present but you control the sparkle.  Trust me, you do not look like you have been kissing a glitter pot!  The color gets so many compliments and I have been asked so many times what color or brand am I wearing....you know it's working when you get asked!



My next favorite part are the wonderful $2.00 off coupons that BzzAgent and Covergirl included in this kit.  They were so generous and I was even able to share with strangers at the store.  I found that Target and CVS were the best source for the variety of colors I was interested in.  I was able to pick-up Intense and Whisper there.  The other color, Snap, I found to be my second favorite because it has more neutral tones from the entire collection.



I highly recommend trying at least one Blast Flipstick and it sells itself!  The color below Stunner, is like a ray of sunshine!

Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Collection

I had over 7 different leave-in hair products under my sink and none left me even 75% satisfied with the results. I can say that the Monoi product by Carol's Daughter has left me 150% satisfied. My hair looks healthier with a beautiful shine (not oily). It does not cause break-outs but controls fly-aways and the best part, your hair is just so soft. I did not lose volume and it left my hair looking the best it could ever look.  It reduced my frizz and static is now a stranger to my locks.  I have hair down to my waist and only used what adds up to two pea sized drops.  The dispenser is easy to work and dispenses the right amount every time without waste.  I'm so happy!  I consider this my one and only leave-in from now on. The other positive, my cabinet has more room now!

VEET Wax Strips, keeps you looking HOT!

The product is easy to use and there is no wax warming required or those pesky cloth strips.  This is as clean as waxing and hair removal can get.  You just rub a strip between your hands for about 5 seconds to warm and soften the wax.  Look at it like your activating it and then you slowly peel the strips apart.  You apply the strip that has the wax to the area you want to remove hair, and keep in mind that you will be pulling in the direction of the hair growth when placing.  The strip even has a tab for easy placement and pulling, so no worries on getting wax stuck to you or your nails.  When pulling, you do it very quickly and you may hold the skin taught as it aids with avoiding discomfort.  After waxing, Veet has included wipes that help remove any excess wax and also contain a solution that helps avoid irritation.  That easy!  You get 40 full size wax strips and 6 wipes.  Veet leaves your skin clean from hair and I did not find much excess wax left behind.  No razor to deal with or cans expelling foam that was supposed to make shaving a breeze.  I also like the reward of not having to shave every few days.  My only tip to add: make sure to keep in mind how you will pull before placing the strip because certain areas (curves) are a little tricky.  I just made sure to practice the action of how I would pull (direction of) before removing the wax strip and applying.

I received my gloss in the color of Nude York City, No. 582.  The color does apply like a sheer/nude and has beige and rosey tones.  It's the typical "my-go-to" color a girl likes to use because it's great for a day to night look.  You do not get that glitter shimmer that blinds people (great for pre-teens but not adults), nor a wet look that resembles an oil slick.  This is just finally the perfect sheen and the price point is unbelievable because of the results!  The lip gloss has a pleasant scent and taste because sometimes we do bite our lips :).  Reapplication was usually every 3 hours and this was after being stuck in an air-conditioned vehicle that tends to dry my lips faster.  A little goes a long way and I liked that it did not bleed or leave an odd tint when it wore down.  It just gets fainter and fainter as you get closer to reapplication time.
